Volunteers are welcome & highly valued at SMS.
There are many other volunteer opportunities throughout the year to serve.
BISD performs a criminal background check on ALL individuals volunteering for the school.
Please help us create a safe campus environment by following the basic safety procedures:
- Complete a volunteer application online at http://www.birdville.k12.tx.us One BISD employee performs all background checks & all results are confidential. Each campus you submitted
to volunteer for will be notified of your approval.
- Please sign in at the office (Visitors Book), let Mrs Hunt know where you want to go & receive a visitor sticker before
entering classroom hallways.
Please remember to log your volunteer hours for SMS at the Birdville PTA Volunteer Site. They really do have an impact on our school & PTA, especially when applying for various grants, etc. which, in
turn helps all students at SMS.
